    Abstract

    Technological developments have now been utilized in several fields, one of in the field of geography. The use of technology in creating the map can ease the process of making decisions. Development of fiber optic routes map has been implemented in PT. Plus Comnets Indonesia Central Java and Yogyakarta Regional, but have not done online, only within the scope of the internal company so that prospective customer does not know the distance between the customer site with the location of POP (Point Of Presence) belongs to the company. The purpose making this system is to search the pathway of fiber optic cable online by coordinates that can be used in PT. Plus Comnets Indonesia Regional Central Java and Yogyakarta and knowing where POP (Point of Presence) in closest to the customer. In the manufacture of fiber optic line mapping applications using a web engineering method begins with user communication, planning, modeling, construction and delivery. The use of fiber optic pathway maps application online can provide information to employees and prospective customers with the simulated withdrawal fiber optic cable, and on the employees at the time registration of new customers can directly determine the required cable length and cable withdrawal fees according to the desired product.
