Abstract

Build a decision support system that moves in the field of information technology, especially gadgets to improve the handling of the election and the election as a benchmark of quality in choosing to buy these gadgets. Assist prospective buyers who would buy a smartphone with providing information to smartphones and gadgets consideration recommendations from various aspects, criteria, functions and objectives of the prospective buyer. Smartphone operating system is a Linux-based operating system that is very popular for the moment. This operating system has the ability to run multiple applications simultaneously is often called multitasking. Google operating system works is able to compete with other mobile operating systems because these operating systems do not require big resources for devices that run them. The current smartphone operating system widely used on the tablet with the features and the use of different functions in its use. Nowadays gadgets with windows operating system most favored by the public, namely smartphones and tablets, both have function and usability are almost the same. Both smartphones and tablets that exist today many types and brand variants in circulation, more and more kinds, types, and brands of electronic devices has resulted in the potential buyers are confused because of the many options and functions offered by electronic devices that are different. Most people who do not know the correct functionality and usability of the gadget to be one of the purchase of such gadgets that can lead to improper functioning of the gadget with a decision support system called "Decision Support System for Selection of Gadgets Smartphone Using Simple Additive Weighting Method".
