    Abstract

In the growth and development of the Internet, the performance of an increasingly dense web server. Due to the needs and functions of the internet is increasing and growing. This resulted in the frequent occurrence of overloading the server. Server infrastructure must be adapted to the needs that exist, that are not easily overloaded. Round Robin DNS is a method that is widely used on a server. Round Robin DNS is used to balance the server load by managing several different IP address for a site name. IP addresses represent the machines in a cluster, and all mapped to the same site name. To overcome the problem of overloading the server, one of which is a single server solution, which is to upgrade the server to the server`s performance higher, but will soon be overloaded when demand is increasing so we need to upgrade again, the upgrade process is very complex and requires a fee which is quite high. The other is some server solution is to build a scalable network system services to a group of servers. When the load is increased, we can just add a new server or more servers into groups, to meet growing demand. Therefore, more scalable and more cost effective to build a server cluster systems for network services. Dispatcher loadbalancing cluster, also known as a load balancer, can be used to distribute the load between servers in a cluster, so the parallel server service can appear as a virtual service on a single IP address, and end users interact as if a single server without knowing all the servers in the cluster . Additionally loadbalancing Linux Virtual Server with NAT can also be one of the solutions that can be used to improve the performance of the webserver. Failure can be covered when one or more servers that are experiencing failures. Server management becomes easier, and the server or the administrator can take more in and out of service at any time, which will not interfere with the service to end users.
