Abstract
On a government agencies Badan Keluarga Berencana dan Pemberdayaan Perempuan ( Badan KB dan PP ) Semarang have data new KB participants. The number of participants new KB every month to rise. It can be seen from the number of contraceptives. The new KB participants consist of several sub-districts and Semarang. This research is predicted that the new KB participants in Semarang. So technique used to research is a technique prediction. In engineering the prediction will apply artificial neural network ( JST) by using the method backpropagation. Based on the results of new KB participants in 2011 the mse obtained by 0.0005 and in 2012, the value of the acquired mse 0.0005 while based on the value of 2013 mse 0.0027 that the results are quite accurate. Research is done using data new KB participants of 2011-2013.However, only data of year 2011 and 2012 used as data training.
