Abstract
Based on data from the Department of Agriculture rice farming in Central Java province, featuring some of the areas with rice yields varying amounts. It required the grouping of potential rice-producing areas to determine which areas produce rice with a lot or a little amount. Distribution yield is usually done by the name of the rice-producing districts. Therefore, methods are needed to facilitate the grouping of the rice-producing areas. With k-means clustering approach, the division can be performed by local groups harvested area (ha), production (tons) and the year of harvest. In this research, clustering potential rice-producing area using K-Means algorithm. By using the K-Means clustering aims to facilitate a region with the largest rice yields, medium and low. The result is a picture that shows grouping based on rice farming area
