Abstract
This research background by the use of traffic information services based on SMS Gateway which aims to improve services, because so far only the provision of traffic information through social media and not everyone can access that information. Responsibility and police productivity �Semarang Polrestabes� in this case the traffic unit for efficient and effective traffic information services to the public. Research is focused to what extent information can be received by all public services through the SMS Gateway traffic information. Research methods used in this research while the technique is the waterfall method of data collection is done through the study of literature, field studies and observations and interviews. The purpose of the author in making this final project is to produce application traffic information service based sms gateway in �Semarang Polrestabes�, making it easier for citizens to access information about state highways, as well as implement a sms gateway to send information to the society.
