Abstract

The final task with the title Information Systems Inpatient on Mutiara Bunda Boja Maternity Clinic are existing problems in the inpatient administrative data processing is still manual, and storage of un-structured data is still stored in a separate file, and the length of the search data, calculations costs and making reports. Based on these problems, the researcher tries to build a system that is able to overcome the existing problems in the administrative data processing. The analysis is carried out by field studies that include interviews or direct questioning by the Maternity Clinic and observation. Literature study was also done by reading and studying the books of literature related to information systems, as well as searching through the internet. System design and manufacture of inpatient application development are using Waterfall, Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as a program, MySQL as a database server, and Crystal Report to print the report. From the analysis of the system and studies that Mutiara Bunda Maternity Clinic is in need of Inpatient Information System which is fast and accurate, reducing errors in the Mutiara Bunda Maternity Clinic. it is also to improve services to the community, particularly in hospitalized patients
