Abstract

SMK St. Fransiskus Semarang is one of the private vocational schools that provide special expertise some majors for prospective students. With increasing the quality and the quality of learning, the school provides for the school fees for the creation of the smooth process of learning. Schools have difficulty in determining the school fees of each student. To assist schools in determining school fees is required a decision support system by using Simple Additive Weighting method. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives based on criteria determined by ranking to determine the highest value to lowest. Thus the value can be used as a fair decision making in the determination of school fees. In the development of system using the waterfall method, because each step more structured phases. Based on test results, a system designed to help the team work in making the determination of the cost of school fees, can accelerate the process of determining the school fees, and can reduce the errors in determining the school fees.
