Abstract
Rawa Pening a marsh area of the lake has unique characteristics, this region is longstanding in nature, where it was developed by the Department of Tourism Semarang district into a tourist for a family. At the beginning of the establishment of this tour very frequently visited by tourists, but in the last few years experienced asignificant drop invisitors because of the many similar tours are poppig up so that the water is slowly tourist travelers left turn to other alternative travel, according to the observations of the author as well as data from the manager of the vacancy caused by the promotion activities so as Rawa Pening left behind by competitors like travel. With the problems in the promotion of factors, the authors as a designer in cooperation with the manager designing advertising medium in accordance with the concept of informing Holidays Water Rawa Pening, in the design of commercial promotion is done through effective media planning using SWOT analysis as a tool to analyze the best strategy market. So that the audience can beaware of any good tourist are a for families.
