Abstract

ABSTRACT High value of the company into keiinginan the owner of the company, because with high scores indicating high wealth investors. Therefore we need the knowledge of the procedures to analyze the value of the company and some of the factors identified as determinants. This is done so that investors consider the information obtained from the value of the company before they invest their funds capital market. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence of firm age, firm scale, foreign investment, and the effect of profitability on firm value. The data used in this study are annual data of real estate companies that go public in 2004 s / d 2007 at the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). The analytical method used is multiple linear analysis. With the analysis of the results showed that the age of the company, the company`s scale, profitability has a positive effect on firm value, while foreign investment has no effect on firm value. The coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) generated in this study was 41.4%. These results indicate that the magnitude of the effect of firm age, firm scale, foreign investment and the profitability of the enterprise value of 41.4%, while the rest (58.6%) affected by other variables outside the model established in this study.
