Abstract

In purchasing a house, buyers need to decide to buy a house with certain conditions, not only based on price but also the place, safety, and comfort. Existing criteria such as sale price, specification / discounts, distance from work, distance from school, and type. If a prospective buyer decides to buy a house, usually the house have not many type. Meanwhile, if the prospective buyer decides to buy based on the expected location based on need, buying a house based on location, all excess building materials, home design, and layout can be determined by the prospective buyer. It`s just take more time to achieve the expected location of housing. From the problems above, we need a decision support system that can be widely used to speed up and simplify a person in making a decision where the most optimal home meets the criteria that have been set. So, one of the methods or techniques of Decision Support Systems that can be used is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). By developing a decision support system using AHP method, it is expected to prospective buyers to get the ease in choosing a house based on location and circumstances in accordance with the wishes of the prospective buyers.
