    Abstract

    Pekalongan Batik Museum is a public service in the field of asset preservation of cultural, educational and tourist attraction that is already familiar to the people especially Pekalongan Central Java. Pekalongan Batik Museum as a Technical Implementation Unit of Culture and Tourism of the City of Pekalongan than as agency budget users as well as acting as a supporting revenue Pekalongan city, as an institution that supports the Revenue City of course there are targets set by the State Government in the form of the target achievement of annual revenue. Sales achievement in 2011 targets remain Museum exhibit admission is not reached. This suggests that the number of visitors to the museum to see the exhibit still less than expected. In this thesis the author seeks to find solutions to the problems faced by the Museum Batik Pekalongan, through the Visual Communication Design at the Museum Batik Pekalongan in the hope that the number of visitors is increasing Museum as expected.
