    Abstract

    1st Line Beauty School Semarang is one of beauty training service company with International standard. The plan is to design an effective advertise by proper communication media and suitable with target market of 1st Line Beauty School Semarang. Lacking precisely the determination of positioning in the company is causing a lack of awareness amongst the public. Therefore, 1st Line Beauty School communicated in a different way to make it more superior than its competitors. This design gives advertising concepts that fitted with positioning of 1st Line Beauty School as an international beauty training center. Design of commercial advertising is done through effective media planning using SWOT as a tool of the establishment of creative and marketing strategy for the results according to the characteristics of the market. Promotion advertising agendas is visual advertisement with poster as the main media and also another supporting media like: advertisement via newspaper, tabloid, promotion, online media (social media), brochure, flyer, x-banners and merchandise. Design of commercial advertising is placed 1st Line Beauty School as a company that teaches the audience to learn or provide infrastructure for the hobby in beauty, both make up and hair dressing. Through this commercial advertising design, 1st Line Beauty School became the company or institution that most wanted and the demand by the public, especially in the city of Semarang
