    Abstract

    Performance is an achievement level of the implementation of certain tasks. One of the problems in health success is the level of health quality. In this research, researcher focuses on a group of object, which are midwifes in Inpatient Obstetrics room of RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang. This study aims to determine whether work motivation, work discipline, and workload had a significant influence on the performance of midwives in Inpatient Obstetrics room of RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang. Population and sample of the research are 50 midwives in Inpatient Obstetrics room of RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang. Sampling technique used in this research is census method. Methods of data collection using questionnaire and analysis techniques used is multiple regression. The results of the analysis shows that: (1) Work Motivation does not affect the performance of the midwives (2) Workplace Discipline affect the performance of a midwife (3) Workload affect the performance of a midwife. Work motivation, work discipline, and workload variables of midwives can summarize the variable of performance into 53.8% (Adjusted R Square) and the remaining 46.2% is explained by other variables not included in this study.
