    Abstract

    Data mining is a process to analyze a set of data that can generate a new knowledge or information as a decision support tool. In the preparation of this thesis Association Rule authors apply the method as a function of data mining to discover patterns and rules (rules) of a series of data sets using the Apriori algorithm. This method is applied to the Tengger Malang Restaurant Brebes by analyzing a set of data that is stored in the transaction data. The application of this method is done by integrating the features of market basket analysis into an application. Determination of patterns and rules on Association rule method is done by determining the value of support and confidence resulting from the introduction of the transaction data. The results of this analysis are expected to be used by managers as a tool to support business decision on the Tengger Malang Restaurant Brebes.
