Abstract
Mikrotik Routerboard is one of the alternative options to optimize and security on the network that is widely used today. Mikrotik Routerboard offers exceptional performance features to manage the network. This study attempts to apply bandwidth management on a network using Mikrotik Routerboard internet cafes. In this study a method to optimize the bandwidth use queue tree. In order for all clients in the internet cafes can get a fair bandwidth. Implementation performed manually and the use of scripts. Research on bandwidth management Queue Tree performed by using direct observations conducted on research sites in Internet Cafes Seven Net Semarang. This study also uses the method of literature that refers to a resource of articles from several authors. Bandwidth Management on Mikrotik Queue Tree to help the admin to perform bandwidth management, where there is a feature in Queue Tree minimum bandwidth and maximum bandwidth settings that will be obtained. Tests using a browser with a test file download.
