Abstract
GPON network is a new network of PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia that uses optical fiber access network is a network while the old DSLAM network. The purpose of this study was to compare the two networks in the PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia network that already uses GPON optical cable and DSLAM are still using copper wires on Usee TV services that can be drawn a conclusion that is best network for service Usee TV. The method used is the study of literature, interviews with Telkom, analyze the current system and take measurements of bandwidth speeds. The final conclusion is that the GPON network has better quality than the DSLAM in a few parameters such as the differences compared to the device used, the bandwidth speed comparison, differences in image quality, customer type comparison, and comparison of the type of error that often occurs on the customer side.
