Abstract
Computer network technology as a medium of communication between the device has been subjected to significant progress in terms of communication media. Now we can communicate over the network with harness technology called VoIP (Voice Over IP). VoIP is one internet application that grows and develops most fast now. A network that can be used as a VoIP communication media can be divided into two major parts, namely with the technology of cable and wireless technology or we call with the wireless network. Like 802.11 wireless networks in general spread not only in buildings – buildings but also in parks and streets. The importance of the use of wireless VoIP is on the rise, and many studies have been conducted to improve QoS and VoIP traffic capacity. In a wireless network, there are several known standards are 802 .11A, 802 .11b, and 802.11 g. The Protocol will be tested to find out which wireless standard performance performance is better to apply to network with VoIP QoS measurement experiment simulation (Quality of Service) VoIP. Wireless standards that will be used for comparison is the standard wireless 802 .11A, 802 .11b, 802.11 g, and Mixed.
