    Abstract

    These days, first degree in tertiary education is a major requirement to enter the working world.To obtain it, students are obliged to study in a university until the completion of their thesis and final project.A student is pronounced to graduate in due time is s/he is able to complete the study for 8 semesters / 4 academic years.By observing a student`s GPA while s/he`s studying in the university, we can know whether or not the student will graduate in due time.This research make use of an application based on a data mining technique equipped with ID3 algorithm to predict the students` graduation.It has the main objective to see the development in the students` GPA and in turn, calculating whether or not the student may graduate in the alotted time.This research implements sources based on Java programming codes.The result comes as a data mining application system to predict the students` graduation using ID3 algorithm and the greater number of datasets that form the predicted results will be less likely to produce false or null.
