Abstract
Computer laboratory assistant selection at Dian Nuswantoro University-Semarang have some of problems in assistant candidate selection, that is mismatch in the fields of competence and assistant candidate selection is still not appropriate. With the decision support system for the determination of the candidate`s assistant, it can be easier for decision makers to select the best candidates for assistant. Fuzzy Multi Attribute Decision Making (MADM) is a decision -making method is used to select any alternative to other alternatives so found a solution with the best alternative. In fuzzy MADM, there are various methods in decision making. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is one method of fuzzy MADM to determine the best alternative by finding the weighted sum of the performance rating of each alternative on all attributes. By applying SAW method into a decision support system for determination computer lab assistant candidate is xpected to assist in the selection of candidates for computer lab assistant.
