Abstract

One of the elements in a company that is very important to support the production process is the raw material. Procurement of raw material quality of a company greatly affect the resulting product. If the raw material can be organized very well, it is expected that the company can carry out all production processes well too. But there are some obstacles in the process of procurement of raw materials, one of which is the number of types of raw materials from the suppliers to offer. It made the producers have difficulty in choosing a suitable raw material for the production process. And often there is a mistake because the selection process is done without any subjective considerations lead to material losses for the company. Therefore the suitability of raw materials for the production process is very influential in the purchase price and the selling price of the product produced. Decision support systems (DSS) itself is a computer-based information system that produces a variety of alternatives to assist management decisions in dealing with various problems of structured or unstructured using data and models. In this research employs the use of fuzzy theory capable of giving some kind of timber that choice decisions according to multiple criteria values ??that have been entered by the user (user)
