Abstract

Scholarship is for those who receive the income and the purpose of the scholarship is to help ease the burden of education expenses for a student or students are getting. Dian Nuswantoro University is one of the colleges that provide scholarships for each year. In accordance with the regulations set by the University of Dian Nuswantoro Semarang to get a scholarship, then the necessary criteria to determine who will be selected to receive a scholarship. Based on the determination to assist in determining the student alone to get a scholarship, takes a decision support system using SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). SAW method is chosen because it is a weighted sum to find the sum of the weighted performance rating on each of the alternatives on all attributes. This method uses FMADM SAW method for performing calculations. FMADM (Multiple Attribute Decision Making) is a method that is done by finding the weights for each criterion, and then create a process that will determine the rank of the optimal alternative is the best student will be considered by decision-makers to get a scholarship. With the application of the SAW algorithm on decision support systems, are expected to determine the most eligible students to receive a scholarship at the University of Dian Nuswantoro Semarang
