Abstract
Scholarship is given to students in order to help out their education expense. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) is a scholarship program of Dian Nuswantoro University Semarang for all the faculties. An efficient system is required in determining process of scholarship acceptance. Therefore, a decision support system is created by applying Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with some criteria which have defined. Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in Indonesian term is known as Metode Penjumlahan Terbobot. The principle concept of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) is to look for additive weighting from performance rating in every alternative of all attributes which need normalization process of matrix decision (X) to a scale which can be compared with all existing alternative rating. That Decision Support System will be extended by applying PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor File) and HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) as the language programming, and Database MySQL as the database server.
