Abstract

Traditional music ensemble is Gamelan Indonesia (Java) which usually emphasise metallophones such as the kempyang, ketuk, kempul, kenong, saron barung, saron's successor, saron demung, xylophone, drums, and gongs. Gamelan music instrument prices vary, depending on booking patterns and needs. For slendro, the market price in the range of 50 million dollars, while the art for a price ranging ludruk 25 million rupiah. Cultural preservation needs to be done in many different ways so as not to become extinct. In an era of modern convenience like this now preservation of gamelan by creating indispensable vitual gamelan because almost all people use electronic media in our daily lives be it gadgets and laptops and computers. To design and build the application, method of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) is applied in the application of synthetic or virtual gamelan, ADDIE, learning models in each phase of the model developed from the different procedural steps. For it was made one of the virtual gamelan pelog barrel applications. With the application of synthetic gamelan pelog barrel, then indirectly participate in preserving Javanese culture. This application is very easy and simple to understand and play, so that people don't have to buy the real music that's worth tens of millions of them.
