    Abstract

    Education activity always connected with the existence of information technology (IT) thus the level of security system needs to be concerned. IT security system is the most important thing. Data security level in the system is also the most precious thing in the IT security system. This research is about analyzing the management process ensure systems security (DS5) using COBIT framework 4.1. Resources of data are collectible by documentary study, interview and questioner. Based on the maturity level, UDINUS is at level 2.03 Repeatable but Intuitive, which means at this level, the activity to secure the security system has appeared well, but the insidence level still in high position and repeatable because it is never been done continuously and no proper procedure documentary is available. Recommendation to fix the problem in this research is given by using 6 attribute maturity level at level 3 (defined process) and it is suitable with the control objective process to secure the security level (DS5).
