Abstract
Person has growth and they psychological growth to fulfill their needs according Maslow`s Needs hierarchy theory, there are four stages and the top is self-actualization. On Jane Austen`s Emma, has similar backgroud that is normal personality and family, So the writer chooses this and find out Emma personal growth base on maslow`s theory.
