Abstract

Almost most of society in ths era is unfamiliar with their own national culture. The development of this era has also brought changes to the cultures which exist in a region that was strongly held by the ancestors began to disappear slowly. Many cultures which have faded away even have changed with the modern cultures which are cultures that ware born from Western civilization. One of them is a culture of music. Thus, the writer makes a music program Jam Session episode keroncong with various genres of music with their own characteristics so that the society is able to know many genres of music in Indonesia and ask the audience to preserve Indonesian music. One kind of indonesian music is Keroncong. As a director in the process of television program, the writer has an important role to be responsible in the pictures' compositions and angles which are are taken by the cameramen from the direction of a director. The report of this final project will give good values to the society. because this music program has a goal to give a music entertainment to the society and to give a little bit of knowledge through the tutorial of musics in each episode and to preserve our music, especially Keroncong.
